Kuusankoski Art Mill

Welcome to explore Finnish craftsmanship and unique art!

Located in Kuusankoski’s historic Kymin Ironworks, the over 100-year-old main building of Taideruukki and its adjoining wing have become a vibrant hub for artists, artisans, designers, and other creatives, offering visitors plenty to see and experience year-round.

You’ll find visual and glass art, photography, handicrafts, vintage clothing and accessories, ceramics, felting, and a wide range of handmade jewelry. The area hosts art exhibitions and live performances throughout the year. There’s also a coffee roastery, graphic design studios, wellness services, tailoring, and organic bread—not to mention delicious treats from the café.

Shops don’t carry mass-market goods but instead offer unique, ethical, local, Finnish or Scandinavian crafts, interior decor, design products, and delicacies.

It’s also good to note that many of the businesses at Taideruukki offer customized well-being and team-building days (TYHY and TYKY) by request, including anything from felting, ceramics, drum relaxation, yoga, and art workshops to playful or sporty activities.

You’re warmly welcome to explore!
