At WHD Gård, part of Woikoski Feeling, you will find the award-winning Woikoski Car Museum, which houses a unique collection of vehicles—one of the most comprehensive in Finland. The exhibition is built around the passions of Clas Palmberg, a fourth-generation owner of Woikoski and the founder of the Car Museum, featuring objects from land, sea, and air.

At WHD Gård, you will also find the special WoiKiska kiosk, which serves travelers and guests during the summer season. Its selection includes local produce, sweets, ice cream, and refreshments. Equipment for river adventures can also be rented from WoiKiska.

Woikoski Feeling’s stunning holiday destination, Kirjokiven Kartano, is located in Vuohijärvi by the lake, next to Repovesi National Park. During the summer season, the manor offers visitors a wide range of activities, delicious restaurant experiences, and accommodation services.

Woikoski’s services are available for groups all year round. During the summer season, the doors are open to all visitors. Please check the opening hours on the Woikoski Feeling website..

History

All Woikoski Feeling operations originated from the Mattila farm, which was transferred in the 1930s to the ownership of Woikoski Oy, when the factory’s managing director wanted to develop agriculture in the area.

After a period of experimental cultivation, the farm fell into disrepair until 2006, when Sari and Clas Palmberg decided to restore it for their horse hobby.

The restoration project began with the lakeside stable building, whose roof was in poor condition. Sari suggested replacing the roof, and Clas agreed on two conditions: it should not take long, and above all, it should not cost much. One thing led to another, and this is how Woikoski Feeling was born—a full-service holiday resort in the heart of Finland’s most beautiful landscapes.

In 2010, the estate expanded as several farms were merged. At the same time, its purpose broadened, and it required a more descriptive name. Around that time, the estate functioned as a dressage center, which led to the name WHD Gård—derived from Woikoski Helios (helium) Dressage.

WHD Gård is the place where Woikoski Feeling’s tourism operations began. Over the decades, the estate has evolved from a dilapidated farm into a carefully restored destination that combines travel experiences, history, and horses.
